I’m a Visual Designer and Art Director with over 20 years of experience working in the video game and entertainment industries, and 10 years of experience leading teams large and small, both in-house and remotely. I’m driven by my passion for user-centric experiences that delight and inspire, and by mentoring artists for growth and success.
My approach to design is experiential and empathetic; I tap into how I want the viewer to feel when interacting with your product and this guides my process forward. I’m a naturally collaborative designer and I thrive on achieving the best outcome by tapping into the expertise of my teammates and balancing that with revenue related decisions.
As a Generalist with experience across a wide range of art disciplines from illustration to graphic design to traditional mediums, I have a varied set of tools and experience to draw on when approaching any challenge, or when offering feedback to my team.
I specialize in UI / UX design and have over 10 years experience designing interfaces for cross-platform consoles, PC, web, and native mobile apps. My growth toward interface design started at LucasArts, where I focused on UX in the QA department where I fell in love with geeking out on interface designs. From wireframes to animated prototypes and pixel-perfect mockups, I am confident with the beginning-to-end process of visual UI design.
In my spare time I’m a hiker, board gamer, D&D geek, video gamer, gardener, and ceramic artist.
